| Today is my last day at my current company... Tomorrow, I'm a month long vacation before becoming a student again for two years... The past two years have been difficult and thrilling - living in Boston and Hong Kong, failing miserably at work for at least a year, working 100 hour weeks on a regular basis, partying even more at times (rarely though, as my friends know, I've never been a hard-core partyer), the highs and lows of applying to school and fearing rejection, as well as lots and lots of personal drama (highlights include finding out about infidelity (or at least the seeking out other partners), having a 14-hour relationship (it ended when I couldn't find him two nights in a row at 1am when we were suppose to be on a date!), starting a long-distance relationship cross continents, traveling to 5 new countries with my boyfriend, and now...uncertain of what lies ahead)... Well, I'm very sad to be putting this chapter of my life behind me - but very excited to see what the next chapter will bring...

Yay for girl friends | | |
| Throughout college and these past few years at work, I've been in male-dominated fields: neurosurgery, engineering, consulting, and now private equity... Yet, in each of these fields, I have found incredibly kind, fun, and kick-butt girls...girls who can model and girls who can ply you with ice cream at 6am after a break-up... I have great guy friends, boyfriends, mentors...but the friends that I cherish the most are my girl friends - I am so proud of them, they are engineers, scientists, doctors, consultants, bankers, traders, and investment professionals. Each of them shows what it takes to be successful with a soft heart and four-inch heels | | |
